Aqua-Aid Europe were privileged to be given the opportunity to present at the 2018 Large Independent Turf Group meeting at Newbury Racecourse along with three other selected companies.
The LITG is formed of representatives from England’s independent Racecourse’s and gives its members the opportunity to learn of developments within the industry at a two-day meeting.
This year was the turn of Richard Osgood, Clerk of the Course at Newbury Racecourse, to host the annual LITG meeting, and he certainly delivered an excellent programme. The two-day event combined seminars with general discussions and tours with outstanding hospitality shown by all the Newbury racecourse staff. The cuisine for lunch and dinner alone would have ranked high in a Master Chef final!
Following a walk around the racecourse, AQUA-AID EU managing director, Hans de Kort, presented the AQUA-AID EU range of products to the group including the increasingly popular WormPower Turf, OARS HS and PS and the Verde-Cal range.
The group expressed interest in keeping abreast of all current advances in turf treatment and this event provided a platform for exchanging ideas and discussing common issues and innovative approaches to solving them. The response to the Aqua-Aid debate on alternative ways to tackle age old problems was very positive, with particular interest shown in WormPower Turf.Leave a reply
